Picnic On The Green
On Thursday 24th – Friday 25th May Trafalgar Square will be transformed into a village green! The usual modern appearance of the Square will be covered with 2,000 square feet of turf for the public to enjoy a family picnic or some sunbathing if the weather heats up. If you’re lucky enough to have one of the days off you could spend the whole day relaxing on the village green in a deck chair with a good book.
A café on the Square will be selling sandwiches and other picnic items and the Trafalgar Hotel will be supplying posh food and drink items to take away. It is free to get into the area and will be open until 6pm on the 25th.
