London Fashion Week Cocktails

London Fashion Week CocktailsTo celebrate London Fashion Week, the vibrant and fashionable Donovan Bar in Mayfair’s luxury Browns Hotel will be serving up limited edition fashion cocktails. The bar, named after British photographer Terence Donovan is a chic, fashion savvy hang out with black leather decor and photographs taken by Terence Donovan.

Enjoy live jazz on Monday through to Saturday from 9pm each week and during London Fashion week the place to be seen will serve up the delicious cocktails from the New York cocktail; a mix of Bourbon, lemon juice and grenadine syrup with amarena cherries, to the Milan cocktail; a mix of Milano de Bere, Prosecco with raspberry liqueur and fresh raspberry puree. These cocktails are only available from the 8th September through to the 8th October 2007 so be quick.

Swarovski Fashion Rocks 2007

Fashion RocksThis year The Fashion Rocks event in association with the Princes Trust is coming to The Royal Albert Hall in London. On Thursday the 18th of October music and fashion will unite for this one off spectacular event. Hosted by Samuel L. Jackson the show will showcase the latest collections from designers confirmed such as Chanel, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Armani, Calvin Klein, Yves Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Burberry.

Previous Fashion Rocks events held once before in London and in Monaco saw pairings between Mariah Carey and Versace, Grace Jones and Stella McCartney, Kasabian and Burberry and also Beyonce Knowles and Armani.

Tickets went on sale back in May and are still available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk starting at £85 ranging to £350 plus booking charge. For those of you who are not able to attend the lavish occasion you can watch the televised event on Channel 4.

Kate Moss Launches TOPSHOP Collection in Oxford Circus

Stunning supermodel Kate Moss now 33 has been working closely with TOPSHOP to create a new summer collection for their stores. The clothes go on sale tomorrow and it is rumoured that Kate will be making an appearance at the Oxford Circus store posing as a mannequin in the shop window.

She was paid £3 million for the range that prominently features her trademark skinny jeans and hot pants. She has some really great designs but the clothes will retail for slightly more than other similar TOPSHOP products. For a sneak preview see the Kate Moss TOPSHOP website.

New Abercrombie & Fitch Store Opens Today

If you’re out and about in London this weekend and fancy a bit of shopping, visiting the new Abercrombie & Fitch store is a must. The store opened its doors for the first time today so you can pretty much guarantee it will be heaving for the next couple of months at least – but if your nosy like me and want to check it out, the crowds won’t deter you!

Located in Burlington Gardens, Saville Row, the casual luxury clothing company has restored a 282 year old building in the hope of creating a feel of The Fifth Avenue emporium. Sexy sales staff will be on the doors to lure you in and the in-store dance music should liven up the whole experience. La Dolce Vita Festival

La Dolce VitaLa Dolce Vita is an Italian festival held in the centre of London at The Olympia. It is a four day event that celebrates some the county’s most popular culture and really makes you feel like you’re in the centre of Italy. The festival will be packed with hundreds of exhibitions all devoted to Italian cuisine, fine wines, fashion, travel, property and loads of Italian related events.

If you fancy visiting the festival you can go on Thursday 8th March (opening night) known as the Gala Evening, doors open at 6pm and close at 10pm, the price of a ticket is £35. Alternatively you can go Friday 9th to Sunday 11th when the cost of a ticket is just £16 for adults and £8 for children, children under 5 years can go free.

If you fancy a taste of real Italian culture without having to travel too far then La Dolce Vita could be right up your street. The festival is being held in The Grand Hall at The Olympia Exhibition Centre in London. See the official website for more information on the different events taking place.

London Fashion Weekend

This Thursday marks the start of London Fashion Weekend – a great chance to get your hands on the latest items that have just been seen on the catwalk. Following the renowned London Fashion Week, this weekend will see designers sell off their clothes to keen fashionistas at greatly reduced prices – there are bound to be loads of fab bargains.

There are collections from over 130 designers and the weekend also offers the latest fashion and beauty advice straight from the experts. This is a must for anyone interested in fashion and a bargain! Tickets are available from £10 but are selling out quick so you best move fast to secure your place!

London Fashion Weekend is held in the Natural History Museum from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th February.
