But you don’t have to travel all the way to Austria or Germany to experience the excitement of a Christmas fair. This year Covent Garden’s Delux Christmas is promising to be just as good as the overseas fairs.

Covent Garden market will be bustling with people exhibiting and selling everything from gourmet mince pies to hand knitted jumpers. There will be different events taking place every day during the fair. These include nativity plays with the choir of St. Pauls church and performances from Acrobatics Company Cirqu U Arial, and there’s even a Couture gift wrapping service so you can present your unique gifts in style. The nights are getting colder and misty and Halloween is on its way – theres no better way to cosy up your home around this time of year than adding a few glowing jack o lanterns around the place. These are must have accessories for any Halloween party whether it’s a grand scale monsters ball or just a quiet night in with a horror film.

If you have never carved a pumpkin before get straight down to Selfridges Food Hall on Saturday the 27th or Sunday the 28th of October where there will be demonstrations of how to create the most elaborate designs whilst staying safe and clean. You can watch the pumpkin artists for hours and then get carried away buying the tools of the pros.

If you have kids take them along and let them get inspired! There will also be plenty of other children’s entertainment around the store such as magicians, witches and Halloween craft stands, where kids can have a go at making scary masks. All events take place on both Saturday and Sunday the weekend before Halloween.

Stunning supermodel Kate Moss now 33 has been working closely with TOPSHOP to create a new summer collection for their stores. The clothes go on sale tomorrow and it is rumoured that Kate will be making an appearance at the Oxford Circus store posing as a mannequin in the shop window.

If you’re looking for somewhere to take the kids over the Easter holidays then Hamley’s might have something that could interest you. The London toy shop is hosting Mad Hatter’s Tea Parties every day (except Easter Sunday) from today until 15th April.

The parties start at 3pm and cost £16 per ticket and only children are able to attend. They involve the children in egg decorating and offer a spread of food including sandwiches and chocolate cakes. They are also holding a carrot hunt which doesn’t sound quite as appealing as a chocolate egg hunt but whoever finds the golden carrot will enter a prize draw with the opportunity to wine £250 gift vouchers.

If you’re out and about in London this weekend and fancy a bit of shopping, visiting the new Abercrombie & Fitch store is a must. The store opened its doors for the first time today so you can pretty much guarantee it will be heaving for the next couple of months at least - but if your nosy like me and want to check it out, the crowds won’t deter you!

Located in Burlington Gardens, Saville Row, the casual luxury clothing company has restored a 282 year old building in the hope of creating a feel of The Fifth Avenue emporium. Sexy sales staff will be on the doors to lure you in and the in-store dance music should liven up the whole experience.
